IRATA Rope Access Level 2
IRATA L2 certification is intended for anyone who has completed their L1 and meets the IRATA L2 prerequisite requirements for training admittance.
The L2 candidate will have completed 1 year at level 1 with a minimum 1000 hours logged in their log book, signed by the responsible Level 3 Supervisor.
The L2 course goes beyond the basics and focuses on advanced rigging techniques developed to achieve more complex access solutions. One and two person rescues will be emphasized.
It is a big technical leap from IRATA L1 to IRATA L2. Now that you've had some time to get used to the basic rope access system out in the field, and how to rely on your IRATA team, you may be ready to learn more difficult manoeuvres and rescues.
Our IRATA Level 2 course will help you further your knowledge and skills as an IRATA Rope Access Technician. The curriculum is based on the IRATA TACS (Training Assessment Certification Scheme) but our practical Level 2 course will help you to learn how to apply these skills to your work setting.
